Over 30,000 people are employed today within the $5.3 trillion distribution industry, and “human capital” is one area that keeps Chief Human Resources Officers (CHRO) up at night. Accomplished CHRO’s manage human capital much like CFOs manage financial capital, by finding and executing the allocation of talent investments that engages talent, drives organizational strategy through talent, and maximizes returns on talent investment.

In a recent NAW Billion Dollar HR Roundtable, an industry expert discussed with the participant’s several strategies on managing “human capital.” Some of the key topics they discussed were the evolution of significant human capital, engagement metrics, links between high levels of accurately measured employee engagement and optimized business performances during this 90-minute session.
